Friday 25th January Big changes ahead

Well it's already a month since Christmas and only a few weeks to our official second birthday! There are big plans for change and we thought our lovely customers, twitter followers, Facebook fans and linked in connections might like to be a step ahead of the big old world and get the heads up. So here we go hold onto your hats!Staffing changes.....last year we saw Sharon, Kariss, Tracy, Lucy and Danielle join the team. Yup five staff in 12 months! Not bad huh? Sharon has just celebrated a year at Out of the Box Gifts and we honestly couldn't cope without her. She has gone from admin help a year ago to now fully managing the company while I'm not in the office, managing the staff, all of our suppliers and customers. She is an amazing talent and we are very blessed to have her. Kariss, Lucy and Tracy are all coming to the ends of their placements with us and the three girls are off to conquer new pastures. Kariss will be joining an amazing band and touring with them, Lucy is going on to study music in Manchester and Tracy begins her honours degree. Danielle has decided to stay with us and will now move towards a senior graphic designer role. We are now looking for an apprentice who would like to work in social media, techy stuff and generally keeping our web presence in view of the whole world. We now have another director, my husband has joined the team, most of his background is based in manufacturing so we know he will be a massive asset to the company and as the only male currently part of the fold he is not getting an easy start.

 

And talking of the team growing....we are now looking for talented individuals who love our business and want to earn an income from selling our products. If you know someone who currently does party plan type selling or catalogue based selling its the perfect opportunity for them to grow what they do. Our biggest news to date is that Out of the Box Gifts is soon to become the glue that holds all of our smaller companies together. Each department within OTBGifts has grown into a small individual company of its own and they all now have their own names. We will be launching new micro websites for each one shortly. This website as you see it now will become our one stop shop for online gifts and every item we stock will be found on here

 

Personally....I have now launched three other companies, one last year and two this year, so my time divides between all of them whilst being a mum,wife, friend, mentor, consultant, mentee, student...the list goes on.

 

It's been a crazy two years coming up and I've loved it for the most part. Running a business isn't easy but it's amazing! Standby for more news and updates as the new plans unfold......Sara.....Director

 

Friday 27th July Corporate Christmas....yes it's already that time of year

Dear corporate client, would it scare you to think that even in this gorgeous summer weather that we are already thinking of our christmas gifts?? Well we wanted to tell you to fear not!!! This year our christmas gift to you, is to arrange all your christmas giving for you. All you have to do is firstly let us know that you want to be part of our christmas campaign and then we will send you a list next month of the christmas gifts on offer. You then email us your contact list along with our simple order form and then we will contact you the end of Sept to arrange payment and that is all you have to do. We will then send out all your gifts along with a handwritten christmas card direct to your clients at the beginning of December!

 

Thursday 28th June Exciting times ahead

Today we have been in a meeting with a very exciting local company and soon we will be able to tell you more about the outcome of that meeting. From September Out of the Box Gifts may be working with a major Swansea based business to bring you a great new product line. Tuesday 26th June We are expanding

Coming in July we will unveil a whole new baby range,so if you know anyone who has a newborn, or you need help to organise the new phenomina that is a baby shower. Keep your eyes peeled for the new section on our website

 

Saturday 19th May Another great idea from Out of the Box Gifts

On June the 1st we are launching Out of the Box Parties. Our new company will provide our customers with a box full of great party essentials. Simply choose your theme and your budget per guest and let us do the rest. Affordable, fun party packages for every occasion.
