Where it all started…

Hey, I’m Zoe - the founder of Out of the Box Gifts.

Out of the Box Gifts was born in 2017 following lots of my own ethical gifting. Anytime there was a cause for celebration or a reason to show someone that I was thinking of them, I’d pull together my own ethical vegan gift box - a sweet little package full of personalised treats. I absolutely loved hunting out different ethical small businesses to include in the parcels and thinking of the ways I could give my loved ones a moment to pause and indulge.

And so I decided to turn this passion into a living, breathing business. As a mum of three, I’d always daydreamed about creating my own business - something that I could enjoy flexibly around the kids. Out of the Box Gifts was the perfect answer.

Now, all those years later, I can honestly say that it’s the best decision I ever made.

Where it’s going....

 

The beauty of Out of the Box Gifts is that our collection is forever growing. Our gifts are all created by other small businesses within the UK and we are always looking out for new sustainable gifts to welcome into the Out of the Box family. We carefully choose our products and brands to ensure they are also treading lightly on our planet, treating the supply chain fairly and of course, creating wonderful products that make a perfect, thoughtful eco-friendly gift.

We have recently added a new corporate offering to our website, and you can also build your own box if you can’t find a vegan gift box that suits your needs.

 

Our Values

 

I am passionate about living sustainably, and so it was very important to me that my gifts didn’t cost the earth; this forms a core value of my business. All of our gifts are eco friendly and vegan friendly, wrapped in compostable, reusable or recyclable packaging while not compromising on quality.

I also wanted to use Out of the Box Gifts as a way to support other independent businesses. I only work with small businesses who share the same ethics as me, and I do everything I can to promote their beautiful products in an uplifting, engaging way.

Plus, we plant a tree with Ecologi for every order placed. It’s our way of giving back to our precious planet.
